4th week

my last week at mirant, wala masyadong ginawa.. ganun parin naman...
operator sa phone, assistance sa mga tumatawag and the like...

masaya, coz finally tapos na ang OJT, i have gained knowledge and confidence na
magseserve as guide ko in the near future..

i can't wait to go to school, im sure maraming kwento mga klasymets ko about their
OJT... ako din, madami din akong kwento :)

namimiss ko ang mirant for sure kasi, hindi na ko gigising ng super agap to go
to work.. :) i have learned a lot.. di ko malilimutan ang summer experience na to..

3rd week

this working week commenced with an inquiry from a school seeking permission to tour the premises....said letter request was marked as received and placed in the incoming correspondence file rack...routine phone call transfers ensued thereafter...a beep from the office of the human resources jolted me..i reminded our section chief that his attendance in the executive meeting is a must...i mused on the existing files...familiarizing over typical office documents...a fax from a supplier was sent erroneously to IT section..hence i had to route it to where it is intended...break time sessions really means coffee time...crackers are perennial item in the table..most workers even have stocks in their pouches...i was told to encode a report on inventory..which most appropriately was done in the microsoft excel program...reports are prepared in triplicate...spare copies served as file....as in usual in office procedure, pass slips are presented in going out of the premises during official working hours...probably to justify and easily verify a person's whereabouts whenever needed....minutes of taken from the meeting was also encoded ...this time under the msword program...office work means confinement for eight [8] hours...duties vary from the manual into engaging in the practical application of theories amplified in school....people are inter active..multinational companies such as mirant are dependent heavily on electrical and techno equipment..computers abound...phone keeps ringing..
